Submission Requirements
Submission
Manuscripts should be emailed to Dr. Thomas J. Buttery, butteryt@apsu.edu.
StyleAuthors should use the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th edition). All text pages must be numbered. Please do not include a running head.
LengthManuscripts, including references, tables, charts and figures should not exceed 15 pages.
Word-processingFormat manuscripts via Microsoft Word Times Roman font and double-spaced, 12-point text, with one-inch margins. Authors should use tabs and indents instead of spaces to standardize the format. Please place tables, charts and figures at the end of the manuscript.
Cover pageInclude the following information:
- Title of the manuscript
- Date of submission
- Author’s name, mailing address, business and home telephone numbers, institutional affiliation and address, email address and fax number
- Statement that this manuscript is not under consideration nor has it been published elsewhere
- Biographical information that identifies your title, where you work and area(s) of scholarship (Please limit this information to 30 words per author)
A concise 100-word, double-spaced narrative should be included at the beginning of the manuscript.
OtherThe SRATE Journal is a publication of Southeastern Regional Association of Teacher Educators. The mission of the Journal is dissemination of scholarship and research related to the profession of teaching with emphasis on teacher preparation. Points of view are those of the author and are not necessarily reflective of the association or journal editors. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of information and legal use of all materials within their manuscripts.
Submission FeeA publication fee of $30.00 is due at the time of manuscript acceptance for publication. Checks should be made payable to the SRATE Journal in care of Box 4545 Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, TN 37044
Solicitation of Submissions
The SRATE Journal is currently soliciting submissions for the Winter, 2011 - 2012, Volume 21, #1 Journal. This is a non-thematic issue so a broad range of topics is acceptable. Please review the article submission guidelines and submit questions concerning submission to Dr. Thomas Buttery at butteryt@apsu.edu.
