INSTRUCTIONAL DELIVERY METHOD OF YOUR APSU 1000 COURSE
In an effort to provide students a more flexible weekly schedule, this course is designed as a hybrid blended course. This means that rather than holding regularly scheduled meetings each week during the entire term, we will manage our course and material through 4 face-to-face class meetings with the remainder of the course activities online using APSU Learning Management System, Desire to Learn (D2L).
This design requires a commitment on the part of the students to regularly access D2L (at least 3 times per week) and to participate in the online environment of the course. You may access our D2L online using any computer with Internet access.
Please mark your personal calendars with the following dates for our face-to-face mandatory meetings that will meet during the class time for which you registered on the following Fridays: November 6, November 20, December 4 and December 11.
As an APSU student at the Fort Campbell campus, you may utilize the computer lab on the second floor of the Army Education Learning Center. This lab opens at 8:00a and on most days remains open until 8:00p. In addition, you can utilize the computer lab at the APSU main campus library which has extended hours until midnight most nights. If you are having difficulty finding a place to access the Internet, please contact us (Dr. Evans and Dr. Griffy).
