It sometimes takes as long as 3-4 weeks for the turnaround of the paperwork for these projects. The faculty examining these proposals are doing this in addition to their regular teaching and research duties. You must submit and wait for the paperwork to come back to you before you can begin experimentation. Submit as soon as possible!

The last possible submission date for the SRC and IRB to consider projects that require preapproval is Jan. 11, 2012.

The project entry/application deadline itself for all projects with all applicable forms is Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012.

• Project Set-up: noon - 5:30 p.m., Thursday, March 15
• Students need to be at projects during judging: 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday
• "Best of Fair" judging:  Friday morning (by invitation only)
• Fair open to the public: 10 - 8 p.m., Friday, March 16
• Project tear-down: 9-12 a.m., Saturday, March 17
